Can I sign up with Facebook or Pinterest?

Right now, you cannot sign up with Facebook or Pinterest. However, you can link your Facebook or Pinterest accounts and post/pin items you find on Mom-me-Downs.

How do I create an account?

To create an account, tap hamburger menu and select Login/Register. Enter your email and password then tap Let's Go! By using our service, you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

How do I archive an item?

Tap View/Edit Profile from the Home screen. Tap the trash can icon on the post you would like to archive and select ‘Archive the item’.

Once an item has been archived/sold can I re add it to my recent posts?

Items that have been archived or sold cannot be re-added to the feed. A new post would have to be created.

How do I create a post?

To create a post, tap the camera icon on the main screen. Follow the steps. You can take photos using our camera or select image from your camera roll. Be sure to give a detailed description of the product. Listings sell faster with at least 3 photos.

Why can't I post car seats, strollers, or cribs manufactured before a certain year?

These items have strict guidelines and government regulations. It is illegal to sell items that are no longer compliant with government regulations or have been recalled. By posting items on the Mom-me-Downs App, you understand and agree to these terms.

How do I offer a different price for an item?

Tap the listing price in the product’s description page. In the next screen, tap the price again, update, and then tap ‘OK’.

Once I update the price, how do I send the request to buy?

Tap the icon ‘Request to Buy’. Once sent, you will see the icon change to ‘Request Sent’.

How do I Swap an item?

If a listing is available for Swap, simply tap the "Swap?" button. In the swap screen, tap the plus sign and select an item from your profile. Once selected, tap Let's Go!

Can I pay another member with my credit or debit card?

Right now, transactions are cash only, but we are working on it!

How do I make a listing Swappable?

When creating your listing, make sure the ‘Swap’ toggle is set to ON (pink). Swap cannot be updated once you post the item.

How do I update my profile and wallpaper photos?

In the Home screen, tap ‘View/Edit Profile’. Tap the camera icon and select an image from your camera roll. Once selected, hit save or images will not be updated.

How do I edit my About Me bio?

In the Home screen, tap ‘View/Edit Profile’. Tap the pencil icon next to ‘About Me’ and edit your bio. (Bios must be between 50 and 160 characters.) NOTE: Tap save or changes will not be updated.

I found the member I want to message but they have no posts. How do I send them a message?

Unfortunately, members can only be contacted once they have posted a product to sell or swap.

How do I delete old messages?

Tap the Inbox icon from the main screen then tap the message thread you would like to delete. In the top right corner, tap the Trash can icon.

How do I follow/unfollow another member?

When viewing a member’s profile, tap the ‘Follow’ button. The same process to unfollow.

Are members notified when I follow or unfollow them?

Members are not notified when you follow or unfollow them.

How can I see who I follow or who is following me?

In the Home screen, tap ‘Followers’ or ‘Following’ and view a list of those you follow or of those who are following you.

Can I block a member?

Right now, blocking is not allowed but we are working on it. We ask that you report any suspicious or uncomfortable behavior.

How do I make a report?

In the Home screen, tap ‘Report an Incident’ Remember to include as much detail as possible. Include usernames, times, dates, and any other important information. We will do our best to get back to incident reports within 3-5 business days. To report a specific product, tap the three dots at the top left corner and select ‘Report this product’.

How do I view a member’s profile from a listing?

In product description screen, tap the profile icon located at the bottom right corner of the photo box.

How do I update my password?

In the Home screen, tap ‘Settings’. Update your password in the last section and click ‘Let’s Go’.

Where can I find the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.

Our Priacy Policy and Terms of Use links are found at bottom of the Home screen. You can also, check them before logging into the app or by visiting our website,

What is The Community?

The Community is a separate platform where parents can post local services and activities. For example, if you’re a fitness mom and want to start a Mommy and Me fitness group, you can post it in The Community. Other parents will be able to search and sign up for events. Coming Soon!

Where can I check for product recalls?

In the Home screen, tap ‘Product Safety Information’. There you will find links available to trusted sites that provide recall info.
